Overview of this location
The entrance to the approach up Mt Iwafune in Tochigi City, a hill enshrining one of Japan's three great Jizo, its stone steps climbing to the summit. Quarrying has cut the hill into a distinctive shape, and it is a favourite location for special-effects filming.
