Overview of this location
The Michi-no-Eki Oya Kaigan in Kesennuma, Miyagi, reopened in a new building in 2021 after the original was destroyed in the 2011 tsunami. It once shared its site with Oya-Kaigan Station on the JR Kesennuma line, known as the station closest to the sea in Japan.
