Overview of this location
Akiba Shrine in the residential north of town, a small sanctuary to the god of fire prevention. Takayama was a castle town of tightly packed wooden houses, and fire-warding shrines like this survive in nearly every neighbourhood. It is known as the setting of one of the series' snow scenes.
