Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl

Sakuta Azusagawa, a high school sophomore, lives in Fujisawa—a city where sky and sea shimmer. His heart-racing daily life with his senior and girlfriend, Mai Sakurajima, is turned upside down by the reappearance of his first love, Shoko Makinohara.

For some reason, Shoko exists as both a “middle schooler” and an “adult.” Forced to live with Shoko, Sakuta finds himself at the mercy of “Adult Shoko,” causing friction in his relationship with Mai.

Amidst this, it is revealed that “Middle School Shoko” is suffering from a serious illness, causing Sakuta's old wounds to begin aching.
