The entrance to the arcade near Demachiyanagi Station. Barely 160 metres long, it styles itself the end point of the old mackerel road from the Sea of Japan, and the queue outside its famous mame-mochi confectioner is a fixture. Students and locals pack it fullest in the early evening.
