A narrow stairway climbing from the street to a school built on the slope that falls from Meguro Station toward the Meguro River. Meguro is a plateau cut by valleys, and named slopes — Gonnosuke-zaka, Gyonin-zaka — run all through it. This stairway is one more shortcut created by that terrain.
