Overview of this location
Beside a drugstore partway down Gonnosuke-zaka, the slope running from the west exit of Meguro Station toward the river. The name is said to honour Suganuma Gonnosuke, a village headman credited with opening the road in the Edo period. Today it's restaurants and chain stores side by side, busy with students and commuters.
