Overview of this location

Lake Shibire in the hills of Ichikawamisato, with the Suimeiso lodge on its shore. Barely 1.2 kilometres around, with no river in or out, it is called the phantom lake. No road reaches the water — you carry your gear in from the car park — and that portage is what keeps the lake as quiet as the episode showed it.
