Overview of this location
The Sanmon of Kozenji, the two-storey gate at the end of the cedar approach, opening into the temple's heart. Beyond it stand the main hall and the three-storey pagoda, with the grave of the hound Hayataro further in. In blossom season the weeping cherries against this gate are the standard photograph.
