Hida Sanno-gu Hie Shrine in Takayama, the model for Miyamizu Shrine in the film and the tutelary shrine of the town's southern half. A cedar reckoned over a thousand years old stands in the grounds, and the spring Takayama Festival is this shrine's own rite.
