Overview of this location
The Akihabara Electric Town spreading along Chuo-dori. It began as a postwar street market for radio parts, became the home of household electronics, then of personal computers, and now stands as the world's best-known centre of anime and game culture. On pedestrianised weekends you can take the whole street in from the middle of the road.
