Overview of this location
A viewpoint partway up Mt Hottanjo. The trail continues to the 410-metre summit, but even from here the whole of Uchiura Bay, Awashima and Suruga Bay beyond open out below. On clear days Fuji stands across the water — the view that everything about Uchiura has been building toward.
