Near the nagayamon gate of an old family compound in Omosu, Uchiura — the surviving gate of an Edo-period village headman's residence, appearing with unexpected grandeur on a narrow fishing-village lane. Stone walls and board fences run through this block, one of the oldest-looking corners of Uchiura.
