Overview of this location
The westbound Suita Service Area on the Meishin Expressway. The Meishin, opened in 1963, was Japan's first intercity motorway, and Suita sits near its starting end. As the first stop for traffic heading west out of Kyoto and Osaka, it keeps people coming and going late into the night.
