It was summer of his first year of high school. Hodaka ran away from his home on a remote island and came to Tokyo. However, he soon found himself struggling financially, and after days of loneliness, he finally found a job as a writer for a suspicious occult magazine.
As if foreshadowing his future, it rained every day. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, Hodaka met a girl.
Hina, a girl living brightly and strongly with her younger brother despite certain circumstances, possessed a mysterious ability.
“Hey, it's going to clear up now.” The rain gradually stopped, and the cityscape began to shine beautifully. It was the power to clear the sky simply by praying.
