Overview of this location
The great observation floodgate at Numazu port — a tsunami gate topped with a viewing gallery about 30 metres up, looking over the harbour, Suruga Bay, the city and Fuji. Among the largest floodgates in Japan, it is visible from every corner of the port and serves as its landmark.
