Kanda Myojin, the guardian shrine of old Edo, said to have been founded in 730 and host of the Kanda Matsuri, one of the city's three great festivals. Its parish includes Akihabara, which is why it has become the shrine for IT and electronics blessings — the bond with the electric town runs deep.
