Overview of this location
Nefugawa Station — one of the few stops on the Tokaido line where the platform looks straight down onto Sagami Bay, and unstaffed at that. In the 1923 earthquake a landslide carried the station into the sea; a memorial on the platform records it. It is also known as a spot for the year's first sunrise.
