Overview of this location
The garrison housing the Ground Self-Defense Force's Ordnance School, which handles training and research on equipment. Its museum preserves surviving Imperial Japanese Army armour, including a Type 97 and a Type 3 medium tank. The grounds are also known for their cherry trees, and open days draw sizeable crowds.
