Overview of this location
One of the largest training grounds in Japan, spread across the south-eastern foot of Mount Fuji. Exercises make direct use of the volcano's sloping terrain, and on clear days the mountain stands whole behind the range. From roads in the area, the sound of exercises sometimes carries.
