The bus stop at Ichijoji Sagarimatsu. The place name comes from the pine tree where Miyamoto Musashi is said to have fought the Yoshioka school, and a successor tree and stone marker still stand beside the junction. Around it lies the heart of Ichijoji, thick with bookshops and ramen counters.
