Overview of this location
A corner of the residential streets north of Ogikubo Station. From the Taisho into the Showa era, writers, artists and businessmen built houses here, and the gardens of those estates — Otaguro Park, Kadokawa Garden — still sit among the ordinary housing. One street back from the main road, it goes remarkably quiet.
