Overview of this location
The white school building completed in 1937, designed by Vories and equipped far beyond anything expected of a primary school at the time. A demolition plan in the 2000s split the town, and the buildings survived only through a residents' campaign to save them; in 2013 they were listed as registered national cultural properties.
