The entrance to the Teramachi Kyogoku arcade. Teramachi-dori takes its name from Hideyoshi's reorganisation of the city, which gathered temples along it — and a few of them are still wedged between the shops. Inside the arcade, long-established confectioners sit next to stores aimed at teenagers.
